A Brand-new Experience

July 21st
*Eva Airline to Canada
Everyone has a TV on their seat.
But the flight attentents are not really nice and beautiful.
We took the airplane for about 11 hours,and I suffered from
muscular pains.

*Arrive in Vancouver
We were so excited and hurried to take our luggage.
However, we waited for a long time and where are our luggage?
Finally we saw one of them,but it's too heavy for us. A foreigner
helped us to take it, and we really appreciated him. No, something
is wrong... It's not our package, and it was too embarrassing to put it
back. As a result, we waited until the man left and we eventually found
our all luggage, we put it back and felt guity.

*Arrive Our Homestay
There are five members in their family, Uncle,Aunt, Sam,Jackson and Dora.
There is rug in their house,and we were like in the movie.
We were still excited couldn't wait to experience everything here.

July 22nd
*Richmond Centre(Yep,the Canadian spelling of "Center")
It is a huge shopping mall,and we could't predict that it would become our
most familiar place.

*International Phone Card
We wanted to buy it because it is definitely cheaper than cell phone. We
asked a man looked like from Korea about the infomation. Surprisely, He
gave us his card and said "I don't need it,Take it," We said Thank you for
so many times to him, and I thought that Korean is nice.

July 23rd
*First Day in UBC
We had listening and oral test in the morning and orientation in the
afternoon. There are so many Asian students who attended the program "Language
and Culture". Ivy and I made a cute Japanese girl Megumi, from Tokyo. She has
special intonation(ha~) but so cute!

*New Friends
CA(Culture Assistant) gave us a campus tour and ate lunch together. Julia is
from Hungary. She said, one time when she introduced herself,I am from
Hungary. There was one man asked her "Are you hungry?" It's really a little
confusing. Leon looks like a Chinese, but he is absolutely a Franch. His
parents immagrated to Paris and run an restaurant there.(It's must be tasty!)
Larry is an Taiwanese boy. Actually, at the first sight, I thought he was so
noisy and interested in Julia, but I realize he is a good "guy" after getting
along with him.

*Superstore
It is a supermarket which Indian runs,and we can't believe that it is our
second familiar place.

*Coast and Steveson Fishermen Harbour
We could see airplanes landed and taxied in the airport. The sunset there is
really awesome! It was raining,but people in Vancouver seldom take umbrella
and wear raincoat. They like to enjoy the nature things. We had to learn and 
adapt to Vancouver life style, so we caught a little cold. XD
